Lincolnshire’s Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) has been named as a finalist in Health Tech newspaper’s Health Technology Awards.
The STP’s Care Portal project is among six other finalists from across the country in the ‘Best Connecting Healthcare Project of the Year’ category.
Lincolnshire’s Care Portal is joining-up care region wide, enabling more than 5,000 health and care professionals throughout the county to view crucial patient information from multiple systems in one record, leading to faster, better informed decisions.
Sarah Furley, STP Programme Director, said: “We are delighted to have been named as a finalist,” she said. “Thousands of health and care professionals across acute, community, mental health trusts and GP practices are benefitting from Lincolnshire’s Care Portal, helping to support in excess of 700,000 residents.
“The challenges facing Lincolnshire today are the challenges of the future for the whole UK,” she continued. “Our approach could now be adapted by other parts of the country, so that they too can meet the expectations and demands of their communities.”
