Lincolnshire coronavirus vaccine programme
The coronavirus (covid-19) vaccine is our best defence against the virus and has been developed and approved following a number of clinical trials involving thousands of people across the world. The vaccine is given by injection into the arm or shoulder and you will need two doses and a booster to gain the maximum protection against covid, particularly the Omicron variant. You will be able to have your booster vaccination three months after your second dose.
Having the vaccine means you are helping to protect yourself and those around you. In Lincolnshire, we are making great progress with our vaccination programme across the county. For more information on vaccinations and where you can get one please visit the Lincolnshire ICB website.
