Ease of Navigation
To navigate around the site you can use various methods.
- There is a crumb trail at the top of each page to indicate where you are in the website.
- You can also use the top navigation.
- The left hand navigation also provides a navigation method. The left hand navigation will expand when you are in a sub section
- You can also use the sitemap. There is a link to the sitemap in the footer section at the bottom of each page.
To get back to the homepage
You can get back to the hompage by clicking on:
- The homepage text in the crumb trail
- The homepage text on the top navigation
- The graphic at the top of the page will also take you to the home page.
Contact Us
The contact us page provides information about how to contact NHS Lincolnshire including maps of our locations.
Accessibility
NHS Lincolnshire takes accessibility very seriously. The accessiblity pages explain how the site is built to ensure that it is accessible to all. It explains ways you can change the text sizes, ways that you can navigate around if you are not using a mouse or a standard keyboard.
Access keys and Skip to main content links have been added to meet further accesibility standards.
There is a link to the accessibility pages in the footer section at the bottom of each page.
Web Technologies
Some of the website uses web technologies that may require you to download a plugin or a piece of software.
Some functionality is provided by client side JavaScripts. The site will still function with script disabled. This ensures the site is accessible.

The site uses flash and shockwave to display photos and video. You may need to download a plugin if you can not view the photos or videos.

All documents will be viewable in other compatable software such as Works and Open Office. We will not provide any documents in the new Office 2007 format (these are indicated by an x at the end of the file name extension, for example; .docx.)
The website in other languages
There is a Google Translater at the bottom left of each page. This is for users who want to view the site in other languages. NHS Lincolnshire can not be responsible for the accuracy of the translations.

You can use the search facility at the top right of each webpage if you are looking for something. Alternatively you can go directly to the search page.
