Stop Smoking Tips

  • Make plans to deal with your ‘smoking triggers’ - those situations you always smoke in. If you've tried to quit before think about what got you started again and what you could do differently this time.
  • Set a quit date and stick to it.
  • Get rid of all your smoking gear, clean out the ashtray in the car etc.
  • Take one day at a time and congratulate yourself each day.
  • Think positively - you can do it. Concentrate on the benefits to your health and your wallet.
  • Reward yourself from the money that you have saved from not smoking - you deserve it
